Thanks for wanting to know! I have been involved in the travel industry since 1995. I attended Business Travel Institute in Norcross, Georgia. I worked for two years while continuing my on job training with an agency in Lilburn. I have been employed as a Travel Agent either part time or full time or as an outside agent since 1997. My last job [before starting my own business] was with a well respected full service agency in Gwinnett. I have always enjoyed working with my fellow agents and attending various and numerous seminars and trade events in Atlanta. Associated agents often share knowledge, discuss recent trips, favorite destinations and new properties.
GBTC is the ‘file folder’ name we use for my Travel Consultation and Booking Business. GBTC became an independent business entity in 2004 and is fully licensed to operate in the State of Georgia - Gwinnett County. I do all of my work from my office at home - [much of it after hours]. My computer reservation system is hooked directly to dozens of Vacation Tour Operators, low-cost Charter Airlines, Resorts, Cruises, Las Vegas Hotels and other popular travel destinations - worldwide. My system works in 'real time' and receives the most up to the minute travel availability and vacation package prices. All computer information travels over a secure and highly encrypted connection. The current 'focus' of my business is arranging packaged vacations to all of Mexico, Cancun, Jamaica, Punta Cana, Puerto Plata, Costa Rica, St. Lucia, The Turks & Caicos, The Bahamas, Hawaii and many other destinations. What about Cruises? Yes ! I do book most of the Cruise Lines, Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America Cruises, Princess Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean, Costa, Norwegian and Disney Cruises - along with several others. We specialize in packages for: Honeymoons, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Retirement, Engagement ... you name it and people have booked travel and vacations for these and many other reasons.
