Many of our website visitors know we go to Cancun as often as possible. Sooner or later many ask us what we do while we are there. First - we explore the resort. Then we plan our hotel meals and make reservations if necessary. Then we reserve any side trips or tours we intend to make. Then we go shopping. One of the major malls in the Hotel Zone of Cancun is know as Plaza Caracol and is located near the tip of the seven - across from the Convention Center. We go there for a while but when we are tired silly from shopping or hungry or thirsty we go to see Ralph and Carol at the Philadelphia Cheese Steak Sandwich Shop.
Ralph and Carol are true Americans who live in Cancun and thoroughly enjoy operating their small but locally famous sandwich shop. They are perhaps the friendliest couple in Cancun -- at least we think so. They have a darn good and authentic Philadelphia Cheese Steak Sandwich too - and the coldest beer and soft drinks in Cancun. Each sandwich is freshly prepared just for you ... and each beer comes with a free slice of lime and a cardboard coaster ! You simply cannot find a better place to have a Cold Beer [for $1] and an American sandwich in Cancun.
