We have added this page to our website mostly for fun. Many travelers - especially those who have booked late Summer trips to the Caribbean become very interested in weather conditions -- especially near the time of their scheduled trip. GBTC has collected our best weather information links to share with you. The absolute safety of guests is very important to all tourist economies. Resorts in the direct path of a major storm [hurricane] nearly always close for the expected duration of the storm especially if their airport is expected to close. Resorts expecting heavy rainfall, minor flooding or minor exterior damage may arrange for booked guests to reschedule their visits -- but do not automatically guarantee refunds. Optional trip protection insurance is a great way to secure the financial investment you make in your vacation. Be sure you fully understand the cancellation and/or weather related refund or rebooking policies of any supplier you choose - before you book your trip.
